Shihan Jocelin Meesenburg has been training in the Bujinkan since 2000.  She received her Shodan in February of 2003, Godan in September of 2014  (saaki test administered by Naguchi Sensei) and was promoted to Judan by Soke in 2015.  She has been teaching adults and children since 2003.  Jocelin Sensei continues to train with Shihan Karl Koch (Go Judan) out of North Carolina, and gratefully returns to Japan annually to continue her training with Soke Hatsumi and the Japanese Shihan.  Additionally Jocelin earned her Bachelors of Arts from New Mexico State University in Theatre (where she was first introduced to the Bujinkan by Sensei Tim Pinnow) and is a Director of Catering with a major International Hotel Management Company here in Phoenix. 

  Nidan Dwayne Simon has been training in the Bujinkan since 2012, earning his Black Belt in May of 2015.  Dwayne’s initial exposure to the martial arts was in Taekwando and Wado-Ryu Karate.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Art & Animation from The Art Institute and works in the Hospitality Industry here in Phoenix.  Dwayne has a continuing passion for art, archery, gaming and is our resident ‘Anime Geek’.    Tim Murphy is a Nidan who has also been training since 2012. Tim is a father of six, and a part time life coach who also practices Japanese Reiki and Anma massage styles.  He earned a Bachelor's of Psychology in 2014, graduating magna cum laude, from Argosy University; and works in a leadership position in the hospitality industry here in Phoenix.
